This Week on Knight Life
Knights sharing their talents, reaching out with their gifts to bring others to Christ. The beauty of art as evangelization. Two Des Moines-area Knights are working together, after having been brought together by apparent Divine intervention, on a venture to draw others to the Lord this Lent. Later in the show we’ll hear the latest installments of, “Knights to Christ,” and, “Why are you a Knight?”
But first, Knights Tom Quiner and Gene McKelvey begin to tell the story of answering God’s call with the intersection of music, visual fine art and the Holy Spirit. It’s Ash Wednesday, I’m Lisa Bourne, welcome to Knight Life, where our mission is to serve God’s people.
We’re talking today with Knights Tom Quiner and Gene McKelvey about their collaboration on a meditative work of art that they hope will inspire others in their faith this Lent. More from Tom and Gene in a moment. But first, Steve Hesprich, with “Knights to Christ.”
Our subject today is Lent and the mutual effort between two Knights to bring others to Christ with their talents and gifts. We’ll be back with today’s guests in a moment. First we’ll hear from Knight Life founder Mike Gaspers. Here’s the latest edition of, “Why are you a Knight?”
That’s Knight Life for this week. If you or someone you know is interested in learning more about the Knights, contact your parish pastor, your local council, or visit iowakofc.org. On behalf of everyone at Knight Life, have a blessed Lent.
